This Privacy Policy explains how Green Garden Villas (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit greengardenvillas.com, contact us or book a stay. We process personal data in accordance with the Thai Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA) and, where it applies to guests in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Booking data – when you book through our online booking engine: your name, contact details, stay dates, number of guests, villa type, special requests and payment status. Card payments are processed by the booking engine and its payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
Guest registration data – at check-in we ask for a valid passport or ID, as Thai law requires accommodation providers to register their guests.
Communication data – the information you share when you contact us by email, phone or social media.
Website usage data – technical data such as IP address, browser and device type and the pages you visit. Analytics and advertising cookies are only used if you give your consent.

3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

To take, manage and fulfil your booking and stay – performance of a contract.
To register guests and keep accounting records – compliance with legal obligations.
To answer your questions and keep our website secure – our legitimate interests.
To measure website traffic and the effectiveness of our advertising – your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses only the storage that is strictly necessary to work, for example to remember your cookie choice. With your consent we also use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads to understand how visitors use the site and which campaigns lead to bookings. We use Google Consent Mode: until you accept, these tools do not set analytics or advertising cookies. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Your cookie choice is stored in your browser for 180 days. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

5. Who we share data with

We share personal data only when necessary, with:

Cloudbeds, our booking engine and property management system, and the payment providers it uses;
Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads) – only with your consent;
our website hosting and email service providers;
public authorities, when the law requires it (for example guest registration with the immigration authorities).

Some of these providers process data outside Thailand or the European Economic Area. In such cases we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above: booking and accounting records for the periods required by Thai tax and accounting law, correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request, and analytics data for up to 14 months.
